Where is Alpha Aviation Academy Sweden located?

We are located at Trollhättan – Vänersborg airport.

How do I get to your location?

If you are coming by car you can simply drive to Trollhättan – Vänersborg airport and we will meet you at the terminal.

If you are coming from overseas we recommend you fly to Landvetter airport in Gothenburg and take the train to Trollhättan train station and we will pick you up at the train station.

You can also land directly at Trollhättan airport by using daily Västflyg/NyxAir flight from Bromma Stockholm Airport.

What courses do you offer?

We offer CPL/IR/ME + A-UPRT and FAA (ICAO) conversion courses to EASA.

I’m interested in CPL/IR/ME + A-UPRT course, when can I start and how many students do you accept per course?

CPL/IR/ME + A-UPRT courses are run every second Monday of each month except December. We usually have 4-5 students on each course.

What the CPL/ME/IR course consists in?

• 6 hours of Class Rating
• 10 hours of Basic Instrument (5h in simulator, 5h in airplane)
• 35 hours of IFR simulator
• 10 hours of IFR aircraft
• 15 hours of CPL
• International route training

Will I need to wear a uniform at the school?

No, there is no dress code at Alpha Aviation Academy

Do you offer accommodation?

We can provide private room with shared bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen (dishes, fridges, freezers, microwaves, oven, induction cooking plate, dishwasher, coffee maker).

Entertainment room with international TV channels.

Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Gym area where you can train on your free time.

Accommodation is only 1 minute walk to our facility.

Do I need to bring sheets and towels?

We can provide some sheets and towels but you can bring your own if you want. Bed dimensions are 120×200

Is Wi-Fi available at the accommodation?

Yes, efficient Internet connection is offered

How many students are living at the school?

A course of 4 people starts each month and the duration of each is about 2 months. So, about 8 students are living at the school at the same time.

Is there somewhere to go shopping?

A big commercial area is less than 10 minutes car from the school. You can use the crew car to get there.

Do you accept international students?

Yes we do.

Can I work while studying?

No, this is a full time course and you will bussy studying and flying during your stay.
