Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training is a mandatory training course for CPL holders before entering a Type Rating course on a Multi Pilot Airplane.

The flight training will consist of three hours of flight training in a Cessna 172 (utility category) to allow the student to cover all the necessary manoeuvres.

Practical flight exercises:

• Introduction flight
• Stalls
• Abnormal attitudes
• Spins

The theoretical training of the course consists of 5 hours of Advanced UPRT knowledge instruction. 

Theoretical knowledge:

• Aeroplane Upsets
• Case Studies
• Human Factors
• Aerodynamics
• Procedures for upset recovery
• Introduction to UPRT (practical part of flight training)

Time duration:

2-5 days (note that potential weather constraints is a determining factor of the course length)

Entry Requirements: 

• Hold a valid PPL or CPL
• Valid 1st or 2nd Class Medical

Accommodation:
We will offer accommodation free of charge for 5 nights. Accommodation consist of private room with shared bathroom and kitchen.

Transportation:
We can pick you up from Trollhättan train station if needed.
