The Multi Engine Piston Rating allows you to progress your flying onto a more powerful, twin engine aircraft. This can be done simply for pleasure or if you wish to go into an airline career, the MEP is an essential part of your training.

The training is performed solely in multi engine DA42 aircraft. The course consist of:

• 16 hours ground instruction about aerodynamics and DA42 system
• 6 hours flying in DA42
• 1 hour skill test with an examiner

Minimum Requirements for this course:

• Hold a valid Private Pilot License (PPL)
• Hold a valid Medical
• Have a minimum of 70 hours of Pilot In Command (PIC) on aeroplanes
